What We Do

StuartSmithDesign is an independent design service for the indoor play industry. With over 9 years experience in working for & with leading manufacturers & play suppliers.
We are comitted to the development of innovative, fun and safe play systems and centres. We take a personal appraoch to the design & development of YOUR vision for YOUR play centre, we do not utilize
generic designs, all of our schemes are unique & specific to a clients individual requirements.
We take time to listen to your expectations and requests, then develop
a centre with you and not just for you. Communicating and working
directly with your designer eliminates the opportunity for your vision
to be diluted through translation from sales teams down to their
supporting design departments.

Why should you use us.

By commissioning your own design for the play elements of your new centre permits you the flexibility to select all the products that you actually want and not only supplier specific products/designs.
We fully discuss YOUR vision for the play centre and YOUR expectations from the equipment and only then begin to develop the concept in order to ensure that the final design encompasses all of your requirements.
In addition you will own all if the Intellectual Property (IP) rights for the designs and for the bill of materials for the concepts, this allows you to tender your proposals out to all your chosen play equipment providers in order to attain an even price comparison on equipment supply based on YOUR specification.

InQuest - Adult Play Concept - Lille, France

StuartSmithDesign were approached to develop a new concept in Adult play. We developed a high number of concept sketches of possible play events exploring all aspects of play.

The Fun Depot

Independant full play centre concept design, development and tender creation for a new play centre based in Ashton, Nr Manchester. The build of this centre was completed in December 2010 and became a finalist in the PPA's Aspire award for 'Best new centre'.
